Advertisment for Admission into the Bachelor of Nursing Science Degree Program at the College of Nursing Sciences of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the College of Nursing Sciences of the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH) in affiliation with University of Benin for the 2026/2027 Academic Session.

Department of Nursing Science

Bachelor of Nursing Science (B.N.Sc. 5 Years)

Procedure for Post Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (PUTME)

Candidates must:

• 1. Be at least 17 years of age.
• 2. Have chosen College of Nursing, UBTH, as their first-choice institution OR proceed to the nearest JAMB accredited centre to effect their change of institution to College of Nursing, UBTH, Benin City.
• 3. Have scored a minimum of 200 in the 2026 UTME.
• 4. Possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in not more than two (2) sittings in WASSCE, NECO or GCE O’Level, which should include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
• 5. Upload scanned copies of the under-listed documents during registration to purchase the post-UTME form:
  • • JAMB result slip  
  • • JAMB change of institution slip (where applicable)  
  • • O’Level results  
  • • Birth Certificate  
  • • Passport photograph  
  • • Ensure you upload your O’Level result to JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS)

Application Fee: Two Thousand Naira (2,000.00) only (excluding bank, remita and portal charges).

Registration Period

Opening Date: Friday 17 July, 2026

Closing Date: Friday 11 September, 2026

Screening Date: Saturday 19 September, 2026

Upon admission, go to JAMB CAPS, pay the required fee and print your admission letter.
