SCHOOL OF NURSING UNIVERSITY OF BENIN TEACHING HOSPITAL This is a three (3) year General Nursing Programme leading to the award of Registered Nurse Certificate (RN). Entry Requirements 1. Candidates must not be less than 18 years old and not more than 34years of age. 2. It leads to the award of Higher Diploma in Community Health. Entry Requirements: Basic educational equalization: Candidates must possess five Credit passes obtained in not more than two sittings in WASCE/GCE/NECO) in the following subjects, English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry. Additional qualifications: Candidates must possess any of the following professional qualifications and experience: i. Diploma in Community Health (DCH) with not less than two (2) years post qualification experience. ii. Community Health Extension Worker (CHEW) with five (5) years post qualification experience. Method of Application: Admission forms are obtainable at the office of the Coordinator, Centre for Training Community Health Officers UBTH, Benin City, on payment of a non-refundable fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N 10, 000) only into UBTH Account with T SA using REMITA platform in any Commercial bank in Nigeria.
