Attention to all Medical and Dental Practitioners seeking housemanship opportunities

We are pleased to inform you that vacancies for housemanship placements in federal institutions will be updated on the MDCN portal on Tuesday 23rd September, 2025. All interested applicants intending to serve in federal hospitals are encouraged to check the portal for available slots.

Registration on MDCN Housemanship Portal

Please be advised that upon the receipt of your provisional registration certificate during the induction ceremony, you must create your profile on the Housemanship portal (www.housemanship.mdcn.gov.ng). This will grant you access to apply for housemanship positions at any of the 46 Federal training institutions nationwide, under the management of the MDCN.

It is important to refrain from directly contacting or sending application letter to Federal Institutions and to MDCN, either personally or through proxies (even parents), as this is considered a contravention under the Centralized Housemanship Placement Systems Such actions may result in denial of access to the Portal, as they contravene existing policies.
