The National President, Association of Government General Medical Practitioners of Nigeria, (NAGGMDP), Dr. Abubakar Ayinla, has commended Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun for the interventions aimed at reviving the state’s ailing health sector.     The President, who stated this at the National Executive Council meeting of the association in Abeokuta, applauded Abiodun for prompt payment of doctors and other health workers’ salary, revealing no fewer than six states of the federation are indebted to their health personnel.       Ayinla, who explained that the Association, a member of the Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), was carved out as a result of its unique features, stated that the theme of the meeting, “The Importance of Supply Chair Management in Health Care System Strengthening”, was targeted at focusing on the supply aspect of service delivery to the citizenry.       Earlier, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health, Dr. Adesanya Ayinde, said the present administration had kick-started the drive to revamp the health sector.
