This is to inform all qualified Doctors of Optometry wishing to undergo a 4-year institution-based Post-Graduate training leading to the award of Fellowship of the College in any of the specialities that the primary examination for admission into any of the Faculties has been scheduled as follows:

Date: 12 February 2026

Venue: Department of Optometry, Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Bingham University Karu, Nasarawa State

Time: 11 am

 

Qualification:

• Any intending applicant should posses the following qualifications:
• A degree of O.D (Doctor of Optometry) from any institution accredited by the Optometrists and Dispensing Opticians Registration Board of Nigeria (ODORBN)
• A 3 year post NYSC clinical experience
• Must be good standing with ODORBN

Examination will be taken for the following Faculties/Specialities:

• Primary Care Optometry
• Public Health Optometry
• Cornea and Contact Lenses
• Rehabilitative Optometry and low Vision Care
• Pediatric Optometry
• Ocular Health
• Orthoptics
