Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission to Postgraduate programmes of the University of Abuja for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The Institute of Reproductive Health (IRH), University of Abuja, in collaboration with the Institute of Medical Sciences Africa (IMSA) is currently offering the under-mentioned postgraduate programmes:

1. Master of Science (MSc) in Reproductive Physiology and Assisted Reproductive Technology (Human Medicine)
2. Master of Science (MSc) in Clinical Embryology (Human Medicine)
3. Postgraduate Diploma in Andrology (Human Medicine)
4. Postgraduate Diploma in Cryopreservation of Gametes and Embryos (Human Medicine)
5. Postgraduate Diploma in Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) (Human Medicine)

 

Admission Requirements

To be eligible for programmes 1-5 above, candidates must:

• Have five (5) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology at O-level WASC/NECO/GCE at not more than two sittings;
• Hold an MBBS degree with a minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience and registration with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN)
• MBBS holders who have completed Part 1 or 2 of the National Postgraduate Medical College/West Africa College of Surgeons and are working in Obstetrics and Gynaecology within federal medical centres, teaching hospitals, or equivalent institutions will be given preference.

NB: Holders of a BSc degree in any of the natural sciences, Laboratory Sciences, and BMLS are eligible to apply for all the programmes of the Institute of Reproductive Health, University of Abuja.

 

Application Fee

A non-refundable application fee of N50,000.00 only should be paid to the University of Abuja Account through REMITA via the University of Abuja portal: https://portal.uniabuja.edu.ng

Important Notes:

1. Applicants are advised to access REMITA through the University of Abuja Portal for record purposes.
2. All prospective candidates must process a Transcript Request (Form A2), which can be found on the application [email protected]. Evidence of processing Form A2 must be forwarded along with all Application forms.
3. Candidates are to ensure that Form A2 is attached to their Transcript of Academic Records from their previous schools.
4. Transcript of Academic Records should be sent by email to [email protected]
